Robert VanSteenkiste

Robert Thomas VanSteenkiste was born May 8, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to Remi Allen VanSteenkiste and Dorothy Marie (Becker) VanSteenkiste.  He graduated from Allen Park High School in Allen Park, MI.  He got his Med Tech Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI before getting his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO.

  Robert worked throughout the Midwest for many years, working in emergency rooms and having his own family practice. 

          When he retired he moved to Saint Joseph, MO before settling in Worth, MO the past several years.

Robert passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at his home in Worth, MO.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Laura Novak.

          Robert is survived by three children Brian VanSteenkiste of Midvale, UT, Amanda Puckett and Remi VanSteenkiste both of Saint Joseph, MO; sister-in-law Rebecca VanSteenkiste of DeWitt, MI.

Robert will be cremated and no services are planned.
