Ralph Junior Conz

Ralph Junior Conz was born March 13, 1931 to Ralph and Lora (Thompson) Conz. He passed away on September 1, 2020 at the Maryville Living Center at the age of 89.

Ralph was married to Viola Gaskill Conz. She preceded him in death in January 2010.

Ralph served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. He worked for Century Link Telephone Company. He was a member of Sheridan Christian Church in Sheridan, Missouri where he attended until his health would no longer permit.  He was also a member of Eagle’s Lodge in Maryville, Missouri. Ralph loved to golf and fish. He and his brother Paul spent many hours doing both.  He finally had to give up fishing when he could no longer walk up the long hill to get back to his truck. He also loved to sing. Many enjoyed hearing him sing on the way in to the church.

Also preceding Ralph in death were his parents and brother Paul.

Ralph is survived by his  three sons: Donnie Conz of Booneville, Missouri, Stephen Conz of Arkoe, Missouri and Bobby Conz of Beatrice, Nebraska; sister: Freda Griffey of Maryville, Missouri, 8 grandchildren and several  great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Marijo Conz of Parnell, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Sheridan Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Blaine officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Miriam Cemetery in Maryville, Missouri with Military Rites by Tri C Memorial Post #464 of Conception Junction, Missouri and the Marine Corps Funeral Honors Team . Arrangements are under direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri.
