Paul Hunt Obituary

Paul Dean Hunt

Paul Dean Hunt was born on February 4, 1949 to Jerry and Virginia (Foland) Hunt of rural Worth County and died on July 31, 2021 at his home.  He was proceeded in death by his parents and younger brother Philip Mark Hunt.  Paul is survived by his older brother, David Hunt and family of rural Worth County.

Paul was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam in 1968 at the rank of Sergeant with honors.  He returned home in November 1969 and was married to Pamela Wake on December 13, 1969.  They made their home on the farm owned by Hugh & Elizabeth Foland, his grandparents.  Paul farmed with his father and brother.  Paul and Pam were blessed with three children; Paula Diane McCrary (John), Deana Renee' Hunt and Bryan Paul Hunt (Kelley).  Grandchildren are Tyson and Trevor McCrary; Sidney Calfee and Molly Miller.

Paul had a love for his family and friends at the Isadora Church of Christ where he served as an Elder.  Everyone who knew him well, knew there was only one kind of tractor for Paul - John Deere.  He will be missed greatly; his full smile and laugh will always be with us.  The family requests that memorials may be given to the Isadora Church of Christ in lieu of flowers.  Graveside services with military rites will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 6, 2021 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Grant City, Missouri.
