Olive Jerde Obituary

Olive Elaine (Brown) Jerde was born on March 18, 1955 in Maryville, Missouri to William Harold and Olive Margaret (Crenshaw) Brown. She passed away at her home on May 13, 2020 at the age of 65.

Elaine was united in marriage to David Jerde on July 4, 2013 at Line Creek Park in Platte County, Missouri. She was a home maker. Elaine enjoyed being with family and making quilts. She belonged to Lacota Siu Nation where she was known as the Turtle Lady.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and 2 brothers: Eugene and Laville Brown.

She is survived by husband David of St. Joseph, Missouri; father, Harold Brown of Ravenwood , Missouri; step-son Helick Hunter Jerde; 2 brothers: Dan Brown of Ravenwood and Larry Brown of Cameron, Missouri.

Graveside services and interment will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 15, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Parnell, Missouri.

Arrangements are under direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri.
