Lila Vee Kidney
Lila Vee Kidney was born May 3, 1930 in Worth, Missouri to Cecil and Bessie (Dyche) Robertson. She passed away March 19, 2020 in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 89.
Lila graduated from Worth County High School in 1948. She married Tony Kidney on February 11, 1949 in Hopkins, Missouri. They lived in Grant City, Missouri for several years before moving to Bethany, Missouri. Together, Lila and Tony enjoyed spending winters in Texas and Arizona and even sometimes in Florida. They enjoyed going to flea markets while wintering down south. She enjoyed playing pinochle, pitch and bridge. Lila was a member of the Eastern Star, and was on the board for the hospital Auxiliary for several years. She loved doing genealogy and spent much time doing it.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Karel Karlene Kidney. She is survived by her husband Tony of over 70 years; and daughter and son-in-law: Karla and Bruce Frey of Clinton, Connecticut.
A visitation will be 10:00-10:30 A.M. March 24, 2020 at the Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri followed by burial in the Grant City Cemetery.
