Jimmy “Jim” Howard Young was born June 7, 1979 to Forest Young and Barbara Jackson in Albany Missouri. He passed away at his home in Grant City, Missouri on November 19, 2025.
Jim was always willing to help others. To know Jim was to know his willingness to help and figure out just about anything. Like his father, Jim was a skilled welder in his younger years. He had an incredible talent for metal work. His talent and artwork will be remembered by many through his incredible paintings, drawings, metal flowers, sketches and tattoos he has done over the years.
He was very passionate about old cars and motorcycles. He spent many hours in the summer riding his bike with friends. Jim was an avid collector of just about anything and everything, he could talk to you for hours about the different antique mason jars he found and the history behind them. He never met an antique or odd item he didn’t want to take home.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Forest Young, mother, Barbara Jackson, maternal uncles, Dan, Bud and Mike Jackson, paternal uncles, Ricky and Marvin Young, paternal aunt, Irene Harrison, and Brother in law Jonathan Barton
Left to cherish his memory are his significant other Nadine Wuillay, children: Katelyn (Connor) McCullough, Elizabeth “Liz” (Caleb) Young, Owyn Wuillay; grandchildren, Jackson Senger and Phoenix McCuen, sisters, Kandi (Kenny) Latham and Jo Latham, brother, Brad Dillenburg, numerous Aunts and Uncles, several nieces, and a nephews along with countless friends.
