Ila (Weddle) Callaway passed away peacefully Monday morning, June 14, 2021 at Glen Haven Village in Glenwood, Iowa. She was 87 years old. She was born in Worth County, Missouri on November 7, 1933, the daughter of Rufus P. and Opal Weddle.

In April, 1956, Ila married Vincent A. Callaway in Barry, Missouri. Along with her husband, Ila is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ival and Buford Weddle, and Daughter-in-law Gloria Callaway (Dennis’ Wife)

Ila is survived by her brother Dean and wife Marie Weddle of Allendale, Missouri, sister-in-law Wilberta Weddle (Buford’s wife) of Maryville, Missouri, sons Dennis Callaway of Rio Linda, California, Jeffery and wife Judy Callaway of Rapid City, South Dakota, Keith and wife Karen Callaway of Glenwood, Iowa. Grandchildren Sara Callaway (Jeffery and Judy), Krystal Callaway-Neppl and Kristopher Callaway (Keith and Karen). plus numerous great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be June 19, 2021, 1pm with the Funeral to follow at 2pm at Prugh- Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri, Internment will be at the Kirk Cemetery Allendale, Missouri following the service.
