Hazel Thomas Obituary

Hazel Vonceile Thomas was born in Worth County, Missouri on August 24, 1923 to Silas Harlan and Grace Bertha (Hardy) Thomas. She passed away on July 18, 2021 at Pine View Manor in Stanberry, Missouri at the age of 97.

Hazel farmed for most of her life until health would no longer permit. She was also a minister. She loved the farm life, but more than that Hazel loved her God and her daughter Linda. She was a member of the United Brethren Church.

Hazel was preceded in death by her daughter Linda; parents; sister Opal King and brothers: Lester and Elva Thomas.

She is survived by nephew Bill Thomas and wife of Bellevue, Nebraska and several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and Interment will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 19, 2021 in the Fletchall Cemetery near Grant City, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City.
