Evelyn Louise (Steinman) Hansen

Evelyn Louise (Steinman) Hansen, daughter of John and Lourie Steinman was born June 7, 1938 in Worth County, Missouri. She passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 83.

Evelyn graduated from Ravenwood High School in 1957. She married Larry Hansen June 7, 1958 in Maryville, Missouri. To this union 4 children were born. Larry and Evelyn made their home in Sherdan.

 A bit of a mother hen… Evelyn loved babies and would make over all of them when she was out at Walmart or Hy-Vee. She was a Cub Scout leader and church teacher for young children in Tarkio. She worked for Worth County Convalescent Center where she loved all and was loved by all.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her son Larry Jr., 1 grandson  and her parents.

She is survived by her husband Larry of the home in Sheridan, children: Tammy (Donald) Roberts of St. Joseph, Mo, John (Amy) Hansen of Parnell, Mo and Ronda (Marty) Green of Sharpsburg, Ia; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Parnell, Mo.
