Cindy Diane (Thurman) Lang

Cindy Diane Lang was born July 27, 1954 in Allendale, Missouri to Jesse Paul and Wilma Jane (Campbell) Thurman. She passed away at her home on October 7, 2020.

Cindy married Larry Baker on December 24, 1976. To this union 3 children were born, Loren Baker, Angela Huntsman and Krystal Hoff.

Cindy later married Benny Lang on February 14, 2005 in Grant City, Missouri. She worked as a certified Nurse’s Aide for Worth County Convalescent Center where she cared for the residents in such a loving and caring way.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Leon Thurman, brother, Bob Thurman and father-in-law, Bob Lang.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Ben of the home; son: Loren (Elizabeth) Baker; daughters: Angela Huntsman and Krystal (Lowell) Hoff; grandchildren: Dylan, Jordon and Brandon Huntsman and Jason Baker; Jake and Emily Hoff and Kelsey (Cole) Hoff; great-grandchild, Karter; brother, Ronald (Rita) Thurman, sisters: Sharon (Mike) Ward, Carolyn (Bob) Hull, Virginia (George) Brown and Marsha (Dick) Hull as well as many step-children and step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; 3 sisters-in-law: Margaret, Norma and Mary Lang as well as many friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City. Interment will be in the Kirk Cemetery in Allendale, Missouri. Visitation will be from noon to service time at the funeral home. A dinner will follow at the Grant City Christian Church.
