Larry "Fuzz" Glenn Baker

Larry “Fuzz” Glenn Baker was born June 16, 1950 in Allendale, Missouri to Loren and Edna Baker. He was the second born of ten kids. He departed this life of December 8, 2023 at the age of 73.

Larry was married to Janice Moad. They had three daughters, Janice Maxine, Kathy Jo and Bonnie Lynn. She passed away 2022.

Larry was later married to Cindy Thurman. They had one son and two daughters, Loren Glenn, Angela Dawn and Krystal Gayle. She passed away in 2020.

Larry then married Mary Lang. They had one daughter, Jennifer Elaine.

Larry later married Rose Chumbley in August 1997. She survives of the home in Grant City. You would find his great-granddaughter Emberlynn , or as Papa called her ”Irene”, by his side along with his dog Tippy. They together loved to watch “Tiny the red dog” outside. He was so excited for the arrival of his two great-grandchildren coming in the New Year.

Also surviving are children, Janice (Joe) Baker of Lamoni, Iowa, Kathy Chumbley of Lamoni, Ia, Bonnie (Matt) Ellis of Florida, Loren (Elizabeth) Baker of Grant City, MO, Jennifer (John) Paulston of Palm Coast, Florida, Angela (Justin) Schwebach of Redding, Iowa, Krystal (Lowell) Hoff of Indianola, Iowa; 3 step-children, Raelette Derks of Stanberry, Missouri, Jonathon Chumbley and Jeremy Huntsman both of Grant City, Missouri, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters and many friends.

Preceding him into heaven were his parents Loren and Edna, brother, Sam, grandson J.T. Chumbey and great-granddaughter Paisley Dawn Morgan.

Larry was baptized on January 13, 2019 and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Grant City. He will be missed by all who knew him, he was one of the biggest jokesters you would have ever met. He loved everyone and was such a kind hearted man.  One of his favorite sayings was “I’m a Baker”.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Prugh-Dunfee Funeral Home in Grant City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery in Allendale, Missouri.
